Tax Credit Opportunities at NMTCC

The North Montco Technical Center (NMTCC), in partnership with the Vocational Administers of PA Foundation (VAP), has developed several innovative educational programs that enable eligible businesses to support North Montco Educational Foundation by contributing funding, materials, and/or equipment and to receive tax credits for their support.  Individuals and businesses submitting a multi-year commitment are eligible for a tax credit of 90%.

Through our partnership with VAP, individuals and area businesses can receive tax credits for their donations. Funds donated through the PA Dept. of Community & Economic Development’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program will be used to support innovative, cutting-edge technologies, applications, and programs in emerging industries identified as PA High Priority Occupations, such as advanced manufacturing, to:

• Provide the opportunity to learn and apply advanced academic and technical skills while using advanced technology, equipment, and software
• Prepare students to meet nationally recognized industry standards, certification, credentialing, and licensing requirements.
• Utilizing funds to purchase leading-edge technology and equipment to enhance students’ learning, academic and technical achievement

In a concerted effort to improve academic and technical skill attainment, as measured by end-of-program state assessments (NOCTI), NMTCC plans to enrich technical training in identified PA High Priority Occupations and PDE Approved Programs of Study (POS) utilizing enhanced instruction.

This partnership will use state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and software to support industry certifications and lead to jobs in high-wage/high-skilled occupations.
