Last week, the North Montco Educational Foundation (NMEF) presented a check to North Montco Technical Career Center for over $4000 to cover the cost of the gowns for 280 seniors. On June 3, 2021, administrators and teachers will recognize each senior's level of achievement with a certificate in their chosen field of study. Some students will be recognized with monetary awards for post-secondary training or career-related tools or materials. Typically, students are loaned a gown for this celebration; however, this year, with concerns of the pandemic, the NMEF felt that gifting a gown to each student would be appropriate. More importantly, this gift will alleviate health concerns that may arise due to students handling multiple garments while preparing for the event. Student can keep their gowns as a souvenir from the Foundation.
